For those that are unfamiliar, here's a little history of Blood of Power and why I decided to revamp the series. The first book was originally released during the pandemic in 2020. I'd been working on the manuscript for a few years while I attended university, not thinking that I'd find much of an audience for my work. It wasn't until the pandemic and lockdown that I decided to brave the storm and self-publish on Amazon KDP.
I knew nothing--absolutely nothing about what it meant to self-publish and be an author. Marketing wasn't even a thought in my mind. Which, by the way, I still loathe and detest with every muscle of my being.
Fast-forward. I found a love of writing, creating new stories and manuscripts that have now been sitting like hawks on my computer, just waiting for me to take that next step and publish them. I'll make a post about these a bit later but for reference, I have two series that I'm nearly ready to move forward with in publishing.
BUT....I didn't think I was ready. Not until I did my first series right. Which is why I decided to revamp Blood of Power, hiring a professional editor, and transforming the trilogy into something that I was proud to market.
And here we are!
So, thank you for everyone that has stood by me as I've undergone these changes. For the new readers that have joined on this crazy bandwagon, thank you for taking a peek at Enchanted Realms Co!
